Culinary Delight Catering in Los Angeles is teaming up with Maria Wassef of Naples Florida who started the program of bringing cupcakes to homeless people for their birthdays! As noted by the Cupcakes Take The Cake blog, this very sweet cupcake news is the result of Ms. Wassef's belief that everyone should be recognized on the day they were born.
The story, originally picked up by WZBN in Ft. Myers, notes that Ms. Wassef stated: "It's so important for them to know that somebody cares for them, and that might change their life."
