This is one Appetizer that is sure to add POP to your next event. YUMMY!
- Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
- Soft Cream Cheese
- Green Onions
- Maple Bacon
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Pre-bake the bacon until half done and put on paper towel and put aside until you are ready to wrap it around the chicken.
Wash the chicken breasts several times, and cut length wise for thinness. I use this method because it is faster. Season to taste.
Mince green onions or your favorite herbs, such as rosemary, basil, etc.
Mix green onions and/or herbs into the soft cream cheese, spread onto each piece of chicken breast. Roll up the chicken breast, brush with olive oil, and hold together with toothpicks.
Bake the chicken breast half until half done, take out of oven and let it cool, cut into bite size pieces and wrap each bite size piece with a slice of bacon and secure with a tooth pick. Place back into the oven and bake until done, but not dry. ENJOY!
